This website is published by Imperium Business Intelligence Ltd, trading as British Intelligent Governance ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What this site is

British Intelligent Governance is a research and advisory project. The material here — including the Rulebook, the diagnosis of the current system, and the scoring — is published for information, education and public debate. It is a proposal and an argument, not law, and not professional, legal, financial or political advice. You should not treat it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional on your own situation.

"Ask the Charter" and other tools

"Ask the Charter" produces answers from a language model constrained to the published Rulebook. It is designed to cite its sources or refuse, but it can still be wrong or incomplete, and it is not advice. Do not enter personal or confidential information into it. The interactive tools are provided as they are, for demonstration and research, and may change or be withdrawn.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text and design of this site are our copyright. The Rulebook and the electoral white paper are free to read, quote and cite for academic, educational, journalistic and civic use, with attribution to British Intelligent Governance. Commercial use — including advisory work, paid products, or building a service on the material — requires a licence from us. Ask at enquiries@britishintelligentgovernance.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to it or the services behind it; no scraping or automated bulk use that degrades it for others; and no use of the tools to generate unlawful, misleading or harmful content. We may restrict or withdraw access if the site is misused.

Links to other sites

Where we link to other websites, we do so because they may be useful. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to your use of the site. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
